Sheffield Wednesday saw their FA Cup run come to an end on Wednesday night when they were trashed by compatriots Coventry in the reverse fixture of the Fourth round tie. However, a week later, the Blues were thrashed 3-0 by second tier leaders Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round tie, before suffering their 13th Championship defeat away to West Brom on Saturday. Andreas Weiman’s 85th-minute effort separated the two sides at the Hawthorns and Birmingham are now realistically out of the race for the playoffs, as they are 13 points adrift of the top six, with 17 games remaining.
