FC Porto will host SC Braga in a Portuguese Primeira Liga fixture at the Estadio do Dragao on Friday night. The hosts are heading into the match on the back of a 1-1 draw against Estoril Praia on September 17, while Braga got the better of Vizela 2-0 a day later. The victory helped the visitors to move to second position in the Portuguese top division standings, having collected 19 points from seven games, while Porto are sitting one place behind them, with  16 points.

Defending champions Porto came from behind to snatch a point against Estoril Praia at Antonio Coimbra da Mota. Tiago Gouveia put the hosts ahead in the 41st-minute. The Canaries were reduced to a man-less, 13 minutes from time when Mor Ndiaye received a red card. And then, just when it looked like the hosts would take all three points, Mehdi Taremi netted a 99th-minute equaliser to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat for Porto. It was the Dragons’ first draw of the season, while they have won five league games so far.

In their last outing, Braga put two goals past Vizela without reply courtesy of late strikes from Vitor Oliviera and Ricardo horta.
