PSG began their pre-season with a 2-0 victory over Le Havre on July 20 thanks to second-half efforts from Hugo Ekitike and Kylian Mbappe. However, four days later, the Parisians were held to a goalless draw by Al Nassr, before losing out to Cerezo Osaka last time out. Luis Enrique’s side lost to the Japanese club despite the fact that Ekitike and Vitinha got on the scoresheet. Meanwhile, the Paris outfit will follow Tuesday’s contest with a clash against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, and will kickoff their new Ligue 1 campaign against Lorient on August 12. The French giants have been active this summer, bringing in the likes of Marco Asensio, Milan Skriniar, Lucas Hernandez and Manuel Ugarte, but Kylian Mbape’s future at the club is hanging by the thread.
Inter Milan, on the other hand, began their pre-season with a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on July 11, before thrashing Perogolettese 10-0 almost ten days ago. Meanwhile, on Thursday, Simone Inzaghi’s men were held to a 1-1 draw by Al Nasser at Nagai Stadium. The Saudi club took the lead through Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s 23rd-minute effort before Davide Frattesi equaliser netted the equaliser on the stroke of half-time. The Serie A outfit have managed to boost their squad during the current transfer window, with the likes of Kristjan Asllani, Yann Aurel Bisseck, Davide Frattesi, Francesco Acerbi, Marcus Thuram, Juan Cuadrado and Raffaele di Gennaro all arriving at San Siro.
PSG probable starting lineup: Donnarumma, Hakimi, Skriniar, Marquinhos, Hernandez, Vitinha, Ugarte, Soler, Neymar, Ekitike, Asensio
Inter Milan probable starting lineup: Stankovic, Bisseck, De Vrij, Bastoni, Cuadrado, Frattesi, Calhanoglu, Barella, Gosens, Martinez, Thuram
