The La Liga outfit are on the brink of advancing to the next round of the competition, having secured a dominant 3-0 win in the first leg in Spain last week, courtesy of goals from Youssuf En-Nesyri, Lucas Ocampos and Nemanja Gudelj.
Sevilla will make the trip to the Netherlands on Thursday to face PSV Eindhoven aiming to seal their progress to the last-16 of Europa League. The La Liga outfit are on the brink of advancing to the next round of the competition, having secured a dominant 3-0 win in the first leg in Spain last week. Youssuf En-Nesyri, Lucas Ocampos and Nemanja Gudelj found the back of the net for Jorge Sampaoli’s side at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Meanwhile, both sides are heading into the match at Philips Stadion, on the back of draws in their respective league-fixture on Sunday. The hosts shared the spoils away to UItrecht (2-2) in the Eredivisie, while Los Nervionenses secured a 1-1 La Liga draw against Rayo Vallecano.

PSV finished second in Group A behind Arsenal to secure a place in the last-32 stage of the Europa League. The Dutch outfit ended their group stage with four wins, one draw and a defeat in six games. Their last group match ended in a 2-1 win over Bodo/Glimt more than three months ago. Meanwhile, when it comes to Eredivisie, the Red and Whites are occupying fourth spot in the standings, with 43 points to their name from 22 games, six adrift of the leaders Feyenoord. Last time out, Boeren shared the spoils against Utrecht, courtesy of goals from Johan Bakayoko and Luuk de Jong. Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side need to overturn a three-goal deficit on Thursday to advance to the last-16 of Europa League.
Sevilla, on the other hand, have had a forgettable domestic campaign thus far, having recorded just six wins from their 22 La Liga games and are languishing at the 12th spot. However, since the appointment of Sampaoli as the head coach, Red-whites are on the path of resurgence. Sevilla have recorded three wins from their last five top flight games. Sevillistas Rojiblancos earned a point against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, courtesy of Suso’s 29th-minute effort. During the first-half of the season, Sevilla were involved in the UEFA Champions League, and finished third in Group G, behind Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund, to drop down to the Europa League playoffs. Their dominant win against PSV in the home leg has almost ensured them a qualification to the last-16.
PSV boss Van Nistelrooy is likely to opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Luuk de Jong starting as the target-man up front. Guus Til might operate behind the striker, with Johan Bakayoko and Xavi Simons occupying the flanks. As for Sevilla, Sampaoli is unlikely to make too many changes to the side that started in the first leg. Es-Nesyri will lead the line, with Torres and Gil in support. Loic Bade is sidelined with a biceps injury, while Eric Lamela is out with a yellow card suspension.
PSV Eindhoven probable line-up: Benitez, Mwene, Ramalho, Brathwaite, Van Aanholt, Til, Sangare, Veerman, Bakayoko, De Jong, Simons
Sevilla Probable line-up: Bounou, Nianzou, Fernando, Gudelj, Navas, Jordan, Rakitic, Acuna, Torres, Gil, En-Nesyri
