Malmo FF will host Sivasspor in the first leg of the Europa League playoff at the Eleda Stadion on Thursday. The hosts are heading into the match on the back of a 3-1 win over GIF Sundsvall in an Allsvenskan fixture last Sunday, while Sivasspor suffered a 3-0 defeat to Adana Demirspor in a Super Lig match on the same day. Malmo had gotten the better of Diddling in the third round of the Europa League qualifying. The visitors, meanwhile, are heading into the match without a win from their opening three games of the 2022-23 campaign and would be hoping to end the dry spell and place one step in the group stages of the Europa League.
