Leeds United will be taking on Everton in the matchday five of the Premier League. Leeds have commenced their league campaign in spectacular fashion, finding themselves in a Europa League spot at fifth position. Everton, meanwhile, are in a very different situation without a win and trapped in the relegation zone. Both the teams will be headed to the fixture searching for a win for very contrasting reasons.

Leeds United will be quite pleased with their form in recent fixtures. In their six last fixtures, they have managed four wins to go with one draw and a loss. For a side that only escaped relegation on the last matchday and lost some key players in the summer, Leeds will be content with their progress so far. However, they did face a big hurdle with a 1-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion in their last game which ended the club’s unbeaten run.
Everton, on the other hand, have been quite inconsistent in their recent games. They have earned just two wins with two draws and defeats in their last six fixtures. A lot of expectations were placed on Frank Lampard’s side before the season but its fair to say that the Merseyside outfit haven’t been able to meet them so far. However, with a good amount of season still to play, Everton will be hopeful to get back in form again.
Leeds United will be without the injured Junior Firpo, Luke Ayling, Mateusz Bogusz, Patrick Bamford and Stuart Daalas. Everton, on the other hand, will be missing the services of Abdoulaye Doucoure, Andre Gomes, Andros Townsend, Ben Godfrey, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Mason Holgate and Yerry Mina.
