It was a disappointing week for Inter, as they lost back-to-back games against AC Milan (3-2) and Bayern in the Serie A and Champions League fixtures respectively. Nerazzurri conceded twice against Bayern at home, courtesy of Leroy Sane’s 25th-minute strike and Danilo D’ambrosio’s own goal. Prior to that, Simone Inzaghi’s side failed to get anything from the Milan derby despite the fact that Marcelo Brozovic and Edin Dzeko got on the scoresheet.
Torino, on the other hand, got the better of Lecce, last Monday, courtesy of Nikola Vlasic’ lone goal five minutes before the break. The Old Maroon Heart have begun their season on a positive note, recording three wins and one draw so far. Their only defeat thus far came against Atalanta (3-1) on September 2. Prior to that, the Maroons defeated newly promoted side Cremonese 2-1 courtesy of goals from Vlasic and Nemanja Radonjic.

Inter Goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and midfielder Nicolo Barella, who were rested against Bayern, are likely to return to the starting eleven. Striker Romelu Lukaku is sidelined with a thigh injury, therefore Edin Dzeko is expected to be the target-man up front with Lautaro Martinez in support. As for Torino, Antonio Sabara could lead the line with Vlasic and Radonjic in support. Lazaro and Vojvoda are likely to occupy the flanks with Lukic and Linetty pulling the strings in the midfield.
Inter Milan probable starting lineup: Handanovic, Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni, Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Darmian, Correa, Martinez
Torino probable starting lineup: Milinkovic-Savic, Djidji, Buongiorno, Rodriguez, Lazaro, Lukic, Linetty, Vojvoda, Radonjic, Vlasic, Sanabria
