Norwich City will begin their pre-season with a clash against Northern Premier League Division One Midlands club Dereham Town. The match which will take place later on Friday will see two sides struggling for form in their last matches taking on each other. They will play this season in the Championship and will be hoping for a quick return to the English top flight.

The Canaries’ 2021-22 campaign kept going from bad to worse. A manager change could neither prevent them from improving their performances and results. Norwich City will have a new look about them when starting life in the Championship. As is normally the case when a team gets relegated, some of its players depart the club, while some are being sold by the team to raise funding. Norwich are no exception to this. With their loanees returning to the parent clubs and a few departures happening, their fans could see a new line-up when the season begins.
Isaac Hayden, who joined Norwich on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Newcastle United, could very well be involved for some minutes in the upcoming clash. Besides, a lot of rotation could happen to make sure everyone gets a few minutes either from the start or the bench.
