Burnley got the better of Coventry courtesy of Nathan Tella’s lone goal, six minutes before the break. It was the Clarets’ fifth league win of the campaign. Goals remain an issue for Vincent Kompany’s side, not netting more than twice in any of their most recent seven outings, but the Clarets possess the joint-best defensive record in the second tier of English football. Tella and Jay Rodriguez are the club’s top scorers having netted five times each this season, thus far. Meanwhile, Burnley are heading into Saturday’s game, unbeaten in 10 matches.
Swansea, on the other hand, are on a four-match winning streak. Last time out, the Swans took all three points against Sunderland courtesy of first half goals from Oli Cooper and Harry Darling. Russell Martin’s side controlled large parts of the game against the Black Cats. It was Swansea’s sixth league win of the campaign. While Burnley possess the only unbeaten home record in the Championship, Swansea have only lost one of their six away fixtures this season.
