Bristol City have made a mixed start to the Championship campaign, having recorded five wins and three draws thus far. In their last outing against Preston, Robert Atkinson broke the deadlock nine minutes into the second half, before Andrew Hughes leveled the score in the 82nd minute. The game looked set to end level, but Atkinson’s second of the game in the 90th minute helped the Robins secure all three points. The result helped Nigel Perason’s side back into the top half of England’s second tier football.
Millwall, on the other hand, put two goals past Middlesbrough without reply last Saturday. Zian Flemming netted a brace to help the Lions secure all three points at home. It was Millwall’s fifth league victory of the campaign. Gary Rowett’s side headed into the international break on the back of a win over Blackpool before losing 2-1 away at Blackburn Rovers in their first game back at the beginning of October. And then, the Lions shared the spoils against Rotherham United after Flemming canceled out Daniel Barlaser’s opener.
Irishman Max O’Leary is likely to start in goal for Bristol City with Zak Veyner, Timm Klose and Rob Atkinson forming the back-three. Tommy Conway is expected to lead the line alongside Nakhi wells. As for Millwall, Fleming, who has netted three times in their last two games, is likely to play behind the central striker Bradshaw, with Burey and Vogslammer occupying the flanks. Billy Mitchell and George Saville are expected to pull the strings in the midfield.
