Michel’s side secured their latest league win against Valencia last weekend thanks to Cristhian Stuani’s late double after Hugo Duro broke the deadlock for Los Che ten minutes into the second-half. Three days later, Stuani scored his second brace in as many games as Gironistes defeated Orihuela in the Copa del Rey second round tie. Pablo Torres, Portu and Valery Fernandez also got on the scoresheet for White and Reds at Estadio Municipal Los Acros. Girona are now undefeated in their previous nine games in all competitions, recording eight victories in the process.
