Julian Naglesmann’s side have managed to score a whopping 20 goals in their last five games across all competitions, while conceding just four times. Last time out against Freiburg, the Bavarians netted five times without reply courtesy of strikes from Serge Gnabry, Eric Maxim-Choupo-Moting, Leroy Sane, Sadio Mane and Marcel Sabitzer. It was Bayern’s fifth league-win of the campaign, taking their tally to 19 points from 10 games, just four points adrift of leaders United Berlin.
Augsburg’s injury list consists of Andre Hahn, Rafal Gikiewicz, Felix, Uduokhai, Reece Oxford, Niklas Dorsch, Noah Sarenren Bazee and Tobias Strobl. Berisha is likely to partner Demirovic up front with Baumgartlinger and Gruezo pulling the strings in the midfield. As for Bayern, goalkeeper and captain Manuel Neuer is sidelined with a shoulder injury. Choupo-Moting is expected to spearhead the attack, with Gnabry, Jamal Musiala and Tel in support.
