As of now, Havakaka are third in Group D, having collected seven points from four outings, level on pints with the visitors, who sit at the second spot, and three points adrift of leaders Turkey, who have played five matches.

Armenia have done fairly well in the European Championship qualifiers thus far, recording one defeat, two wins and one draw from four group fixtures. Havakakan have put themselves in a strong position by defeating the likes of Latvia and Wales, securing an impressive 4-2 victory over the latter at the Cardiff City Stadium back in June. Oleksandr Petrakov’s side shared the spoils against group-leaders Turkey last time out despite taking the lead through Artak Dashyan’s 49th-minute opener. The Crescent boys managed to steal a point in front of their own supporters thanks to Betus Yildrim’s equaliser in the 89th-minute. As such, the Armenians will be bidding to cause an upset against Croatia on Monday.
Croatia, on the other hand, put five goals past Latvia without reply last time out thanks to Bruno Petkovic’s brace and one goal each from Luka Ivanusec, Andrej Kramaric and Mario Pasalic. Zlatko Dalic’s side dominated the proceedings at Stadio HJK Rijeka, having almost 75% ball possession, attempted 28 shots throughout the match, with 14 of them on target. It was their second consecutive victory in the Euro qualifiers, having breezed past Turkey 2-0 back in March, while their opening match of the qualification campaign ended in a 1-1 draw against Wales. Vaterni have played the fewest games of any team in Group D, having only had three outings so far, and a win on Monday night would move them to the summit of the table, courtesy of their superior head-to-head record against Turkey.
