Satwik/Chirag fail to cross the hurdle in All England after French Open Heroics

World’s number one Badminton duo Satwik/Chirag was ruled out of from All England Opens 2024 due to the loss in the round 2 game by the 2022 champion Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Bagas Maulana in straight games in their second-round match by the score of 16-21, 15-21 in just 41 minutes.

In the game of round one Satwik/Chirag registered a magnificent win against Indonesian Men’s double duo Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan in the round 16 match with 21-18, 21-14. Despite their best efforts, the Indian duo couldn’t win over their opponents in the round 16 game. The Indonesian duo dominated them with their impressive skills and strategy.

In the first game, both teams were equally dominant over each other, with a score of 7-6. However, the Indonesian duo took advantage of some great shots and mistakes made by Satwiksairaj/Chirag Shetty, scoring six consecutive points. Although Satwik/Chirag tried to cover the difference, they lost the game by 21-16.

In the final game, the Indonesian duo started strong by scoring four successive points and maintaining a steady lead. However, at the score of 14-9, the Indian duo, Satwik-Chirag, demonstrated their proficiency in badminton by scoring four straight points, bringing the score to 14-13. Despite this impressive comeback, the Indonesian duo’s skilful performance proved too much for Satwik-Chirag, leading to their defeat by 21-15.

Before the All-England Opens 2024, the world’s number 1 men’s double players Satwik/Chirag showed a magnificent performance in The French Opens 2024.By defeating Chinese Taipei’s Lee Jhe-Huei and Yang Po-Hsuan to secure the French Opens Title. However, fate wasn’t on the side of the Indian Duo Satwik/Chirag in All England Opens 2024.
