WWE brings Friday Night Smackdown back to New Orleans for the first time since 2018 in 2023! Watch all of your favorite Smackdown Superstars perform live at the Smoothie King Centre and broadcast to the entire world! The complete match schedule, forecasts, start times, and information about live streaming are provided below for this week’s Friday Night episode, which is slated to show on July 28, 2023.

Match Card

  • Karrion Kross vs Karl Anderson
  • Charlotte Flair Will Attack Asuka
  • Ridge Holland and Butch vs Defeat Pretty Deadly
  • Santos Escobar vs Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship Invitational Finals

Predictions

Karrion Kross vs Karl Anderson

Karrion Kross attacked Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The O.C. backstage on the July 14 episode of SmackDown, trapping the latter in the agonizing Kross Jacket and creating a distraction that ultimately cost AJ Styles the chance to advance in the United States Championship Invitational. Always up for a fight, Anderson will now enter the world of darkness and seek retribution when he faces off against his evil and vicious foe.

Santos Escobar vs Rey Mysterio

In the United States Championship Invitational finals, Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar, another member of The LWO, will square off. Escobar defeated Butch, Grayson Waller, and AJ Styles, while Mysterio defeated Sheamus, Cameron Grimes, and LA Knight in two exciting first-round Fatal 4-Way Matches, setting up the interesting clash between pals.
