WWE NXT honored the Fourth of July with a spectacular show that featured a career-changing tag team match and a resurgence of an old fight-type in a new guise.. In a match between The Creed Brothers and The Dyad, the losers would be kicked out of NXT. Ava assured them that Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid would be helped by Joe Gacy, and Julius and Brutus Creed entered the room with a cocky air. When Eddy Thorpe competed against Damon Kemp in an NXT Underground match, it was the most difficult challenge of his NXT career. But he did have Gable Steveson on his side. Along with continuing to demand Shawn Michaels give him what he wants, Bron Breakker also made a declaration that he would be released.

Jacy Jayne vs Lyra Valkyria

Jacy Jayne attempted to knock down Lyra Valkyria throughout the battle, but she was unable to do so indefinitely. With a roundhouse kick, the Valkyrie clinched the victory. Jayne then assaulted her adversary from behind, destroying her black wings. This bout, like the opening, failed to shift beyond the starting position, but it did not possess the same ferocity. Jayne commanded too much for Valkyria to catch up. This was simply flat, leaning far too heavily on Jayne to carry the action. Perhaps the two will perform better now that Jayne has made things more personal, but The Valkyrie must lead the rematch.

The Dyad (w/ Ava and Joe Gacy) vs The Creed Brothers (w/ Ivy Nile)

Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid continued to dominate, continually countering the offense of Julius and Brutus Creed, even after Joe Gacy was dismissed. After Brutus was killed, Julius gave all his utmost to win the battle. Ava was killed by Ivy Nile, but Julius was headbutted by a man wearing a metal mask.

This prepared Ticket to Mayhem to give The Dyad the victory and put an end to The Creeds’ NXT careers. These teams have a history of working well together, and this was their best-ever performance. There was a moment throughout the match when it seemed as though Julius could have won it all by himself. The Creed brothers leaving NXT after being passed over for a draft was unexpected.

Even though Julius and Brutus have a lot to offer Raw or SmackDown, they are joining the main roster after a defeat rather than having their worth recognised through a draft pick. Additionally, Nile, who was crucial to their presentation, won’t be joining them. Diamond Mine as a whole has disintegrated over time, but these three grew and can continue to grow together. Hopefully they will get back together.

Ilja Dragunov guarantees to kick Bron Breakker out of NXT

Ilja Dragunov interrupted Bron Breakker’s attempt to concentrate on his future beyond NXT so that he could confront his adversary. When a fight started, authorities were unable to separate the parties. The changing room needed to participate. Breakker and Dragunov didn’t make any noteworthy commercials, but the main goal of this was to get to the final battle. NXT understands the value of Breakker vs. Dragunov.

It hasn’t taken much for this conflict to seem significant, and it will probably come to a head at the Great American Bash before Breakker joins the main roster. The conclusion of a match could have been more appropriate, but NXT must do more to develop the following high-end live event. Following the match between Mustafa Ali and Wes Lee, this is the next puzzle piece.

The Complete Show

With Gold Rush, NXT secured two outstanding weeks of television for the programme, thus the sequel was destined to fall short in comparison. This was a return to standard NXT fare. The evening’s rhythm was dominated by backstage segments and vignettes, and some matches were cut shorter than they needed to have been. But the matches between The Creed Brothers and The Dyad, Eddy Thorpe and Damon Kemp, and Mustafa Ali and Tyler Bate all lived up to the promise of their builds. The Great American Bash is getting off to a terrific start. Bron Breakker vs. Ilja Draunov and Ali vs. Wes Lee may as well be scheduled. Finn Bálor vs. Carmelo Hayes appears plausible as well.

The upcoming weeks will be responsible for scheduling important matches for the tag team and women’s divisions. Tony D’Angelo’s arrest has dragged on much longer than it ought to. Around Tiffany Stratton, the revamped women’s division is still taking shape. It ought to have been better for Lyra Valkyria vs. Jacy Jayne and Roxanne Perez vs. Blair Davenport. Thea Hail and Ivy Nile may be on the rise, but Gigi Dolin vs. Kiana James is not really riveting television. Even as more performers depart for Raw or SmackDown, NXT still has a strong foundation. Those who are left must step up their game.
