WWE NXT Great American Bash 2023 Match Card and Predictions 

The 2023 WWE NXT Great American Bash is NXT’s fourth PLE. The H-E-B Centre in Cedar Park, Texas, will host the event. The NXT Championship defense of Carmelo Hayes will take place against Ilja Dragunov. The North American title match between Dominik Mysterio and Mustafa Ali is scheduled. You should probably check out NXT if revived WCW PPVs are your thing. The NXT calendar includes events like Great American Bash, which will be here very soon, WarGames, and Halloween Havoc. 

The biggest NXT show of the summer, which will take place on July 30 this year, is beginning to take shape. Sunday, July 30, with the main card beginning at 8 p.m. EST and maybe preceded by a kickoff event lasting an hour. Everyone else must tune into the WWE Network or whatever service carries the Network in your region of the world. Those of you in the US will be able to follow along on Peacock.

Predictions 

Carmelo Hayes vs. Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship

Ilja Dragunov defeated Bron Breakker to earn a slot facing Carmelo Hayes at Great American Bash, where he will make his first-ever attempt at a singles match for the championship. Additionally, it seems as though Breakker’s tenure in NXT will come to an end then. Although Hayes hasn’t held the title for very long, I have a sneaking suspicion that this could also be it for him. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he lost to Dragunov tonight and left the brand because he is obviously brilliant and well-liked by WWE executives.

Dominik Mysterio(c) vs Mustafa Ali – NXT North American Championship

In May 2023, Mustafa Ali joined NXT and assisted North American Champion Wes Lee in his match with The Schism. He worked with Lee and Tyler Bate to defeat The Schism on the NXT episode of June 13 after assisting in resolving the conflict between them. He also served as a special guest referee for the Lee vs. Bate North American title fight, in which Lee won the belt. 

His performance, however, was controversial due to a number of rapid and slow counts. He then requested a title shot from Lee. After defeating Tyler Bate in a singles match on the July 4 NXT programme, Ali earned the chance to defend the title. On July 9, WWE launched the contest on social media. Wes Lee was deposed by Dominik Mysterio, who defeated him.
