Logan Paul had a great WrestleMania. The internet celebrity and YouTube star teamed up with The Miz and defeated Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio in a pulsating tag team match.
Logan has now revealed what WWE chairman Vince McMahon said to him after the match. Speaking on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Logan Paul was asked if WWE offered him a long term deal to which he said, “Not yet. Maybe they will. I will say this. Vince McMahon after my match, we shook hands. It was the good old like stepdad Vince thing. He’s like, ‘Trust me. Your future is here.’ Bro, come on. That’s Vince McMahon. He’s a legend.”
“Him being excited about the new guy’s performance, it’s so validating. Even just the response and feedback online I got after the match, haters or lovers, not one negative comment. I think people were surprised by my performance. I’m so grateful that they liked it. I’m happy that I made them happy and was able to entertain on a stage that big. You know, it was probably 70,000 people watching.”

Meanwhile, Hall of Famer Booker T also was full of praise for Logan Paul. Speaking on the latest Hall Of Fame podcast, the five-time WCW Champion spoke about what his moment of the night was from WrestleMania 38. He said that it was the performance of Logan Paul that stood out and that he felt that the YouTube star convinced people he’d been wrestling for a long time.
“I think my moment of the night would be Logan Paul,” Booker said. “I think Logan Paul would take the gold medal as far as stepping inside of a professional wrestling ring, and as far as I know, for the first time in front of a live crowd, and do so well. He seemed so comfortable, it seemed like he had been doing this for quite some time.
“He convinced me, Logan Paul definitely convinced me that this guy has got talent. He’s one of those guys where I’ll use that analogy that I talk about all the time, he doesn’t have to actually know how to do it, but he acts like he knows how to do it. And he acts like it very well.”
