Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are loving their time in the WWE. The team has successfully defended their Tag Team Championships on numerous occasions since defeating The Usos to win them at WrestleMania 39. They might have a significant obstacle this time around though. Former Tag Team Champions could challenge Owens and Zayn for their tag team belts. The Viking Raiders are the aforementioned former champions. Earlier this week on RAW, the latter defeated Apha Academy in a Viking Rules match. The Raiders’ triumph was highly convincing.
In this week’s Monday Night RAW main event, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn faced off against Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest to defend their Undisputed Tag Team Titles. As soon as Seth Rollins emerged and attacked Finn Balor, who was standing behind Priest and Mysterio, the bout descended into anarchy. Backstage, Balor was pursued by Rollins, and the action between the two teams resumed. Throughout the game, both teams appeared to have strong moments. However, there can only be one victorious team. And that team consisted of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
At ringside, Liv Morgan attacked Rhea Ripley after a protracted back and forth. Dominik Mysterio was assaulted and pinned by Sami Zayn as a result of this distraction. With Morgan diverted, Owens and Zayn were able to successfully defend their title once again thanks to their efforts. It will be intriguing to watch what Owens and Zayn do after this championship defense. They have a lot of alternatives, but it would be fascinating to see them engage in a conflict with The Viking Raiders. The future of Owens and Zayn will be closely watched by the WWE Universe because things are sure to get interesting.

With their victory over Alpha Academy, the Viking Raiders could possibly put an end to their conflict with the group. It would merely make logic for the pair to go and shoot a challenge for the tag team championship if that were the case. They stand a good possibility of unseating Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn if they give it their all. The Viking Raiders previously held the title of RAW Tag Team Champions in 2019. They made history by becoming the first team to ever win the tag championship in ROH, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and WWE by taking home the prized tag titles back then. It will be intriguing to see if they can reclaim their tag team titles.
