While federal inquiries into McMahon are still underway, according to WWE’s statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission, no charges have been filed. In relation to the probe and related topics, the company claimed it has received both voluntary and compliant legal requests for documents, including from federal law enforcement and regulatory organizations. “WWE has cooperated throughout and fully understands and respects the government’s need for a complete process,” Expressed the company.
The WWE is reportedly looking into an apparent $3 million payment made by McMahon to a female employee who left as a result of an alleged affair, according to a Wall Street Journal report from last year. The inquiry into the alleged misbehavior by WWE was finished last year.

“In 2022, WWE formed a special committee to review allegations of misconduct against me,” that review was concluded in November 2022 following an extensive investigation.
