In October of this year, Indianapolis will host the return of WWE Fastlane. WWE Fastlane 2023 will take place on October 7 from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, according to an official announcement made by Pat McAfee on the Pat McAfee show on June 20. Then, WWE issued a press release confirming the same. The WWE PPV event for this year, Fastlane 2023, will be held in Indiana for the first time in seven years.
The Fastlane pay-per-view event was introduced by WWE in 2015, and it remained a regular event until 2019. It didn’t happen in 2020, but it did return in 2021—the year of the final Fastlane PPV event. Roman Reigns defended the WWE Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan in the Fastlane 2021 main event.
There is a chance that Pat McAfee will participate in the PPV in some way because he announced the show. The sale of WWE Fastlane 2023 tickets will start on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10 AM ET, according to a statement from WWE. The VIP passes will start to be made available on Wednesday through special partners on site.

WWE® (NYSE: WWE) today announced that WWE Fastlane will take place Saturday, October 7 from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. It marks the first premium live event to emanate from Indianapolis in seven years. WWE Fastlane will stream live exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. and WWE Network everywhere else.
