We hadn’t seen Tommaso Ciampa in a WWE ring for nine long months. On “WWE Raw” on Monday night, that wait came to an end at The Miz’s price. The first episode of “Raw” saw Seth Rollins announcing his intention to have an open challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship, but Finn Balor brutally interfered and stopped him. Afterward, “The A-Lister” voiced his annoyance and said he had planned to be the one to respond to “The Visionary.” Instead, he requested an open challenge of his own, and was initially delighted to see Ciampa respond.
It was unfortunate for The Miz that it was not a cordial reunion since after approximately five minutes Ciampa won his first match on WWE television since last August, after he paired up with The Miz to take down A.J. Styles and Bobby Lashley.
Ciampa has had a hip problem for about a year, yet he attended “Raw” this past month in Albany, New York, backstage. Even if he didn’t show up that night, it implied that he will return soon. Even the possibility of a reunion with Johnny Gargano, a former tag team member and enmity opponent, has been hinted at.
As Gargano, Candice LeRae, Dexter Lumis, and Indi Hartwell were chosen by the red brand in the WWE Draught, “The Way,” without former member Austin Theory, was reunited on “Raw” last month. Gargano seemed to mention Ciampa in a backstage portion. “And like I was saying, he’s coming back soon, and I think it’s gonna be great,” Said Gargano.

Can a well-liked NXT tag team reunite on the WWE main roster? Many people are hoping for it to happen. On the Black & Gold brand, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa were a well-liked duo. They even shared the tag team gold, in fact. Sadly, the closest of friends soon fell out and developed a bitter feud. Nevertheless, they appeared to have reconciled when Johnny momentarily left WWE and Ciampa moved to RAW. It would be the ideal time to bring back the well-liked couple now that both celebrities are signed to the red label. Could they contend for the RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Titles against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens?
While WWE fans may have hoped to see the ex-friends working together on the company’s longest-running brand, they may instead renew their animosity and begin fighting once more. They would at least engage in titanic battles. However, when he resumes activity, that might be his course of action.
