Triple H is a WWE legend and superstar who has given great moments and helped the WWE promotion grow. He has been there at every twist and turn. With him inevitably retiring from pro wrestling due to health complications, let’s remember The Game’s greatest matches at Wrestlemania. For over two decades, Triple H has been on top and will always remain the same. Like in his entrance song, Triple H plays his game and orchestrates everything according to his will. He made his debut in 1996 and has been the top dog ever since. He has been part of many Wrestlemanias and has given some of the greatest matches as well. So, let’s look back at The Game’s best Wrestlemania matches of all time.

WrestleMania XXX – Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan

The wild build to WrestleMania XXX saw Daniel Bryan climb to the main event of the evening, but it also included this incredible encounter that kicked off the show. Bryan’s no-frills stroll to the ring contrasted with Triple H’s flamboyant entrance, highlighting the character differences between the two men. However, as the action started, it was clear that they were made of the same stuff as wrestlers. Bryan, the ultimate underdog, was in one corner, while Triple H, the villainous ruler, was in the other. Hunter stood in the way of Bryan’s ambition, and it was this emotional element that propelled the battle ahead from the outset. The celebrities made an unexpected choice to play a technical match. When Bryan was at his best, Triple H demonstrated that he has some wrestling talents aside from the normal brawling. Bryan stole the victory with a flying knee, securing his spot in the WrestleMania main event.

WrestleMania XXVIII – Triple H vs. The Undertaker

This was Triple H’s third meeting with Undertaker at WrestleMania, and instead of being a stalemate, the bout turned into an instant classic. The “end of an era” Hell in a Cell bout was built with one goal in mind: to give fans cause to think Triple H may be the one to shatter Undertaker’s Streak. Shawn Michaels appeared as a special guest referee to that purpose, apparently tilting the game against The Phenom. As predicted, the ring action was fantastic. Michaels knockout Taker was matched with Sweet Chin music by the saw saw. Finally, Taker hit Triple H with a tombstone piledriver to extend his winning run to 20-0. After the match, the three superstars climbed to the top of the stage and hugged, signalling the end of an era.

Wrestlemania XX – Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Benoit

The inaugural Triple Threat main event at WrestleMania deserved to be on the schedule, as it is one of the finest bouts in the history of the pay-per-view. The action was heavy and quick right from the start. It also remained competitive and interesting. Hunter was the champion at the time, and he was in the midst of an epic feud with Shawn Michaels on the path to WrestleMania. Both guys competed in the last man-standing bout at Royal Rumble, which ended in a tie. Benoit, on the other hand, ended up winning the Royal Rumble match, resulting in a three-way fight for the WWE Championship. From the beginning, the match was a fairy tale, and the climax, in which Benoit triumphed, was flawless.
