The set-up was straightforward, Hail tapped Stratton, but the referee missed it, and Tiffany was able to leave with her championship.
By completing Chase University and challenging Tiffany Stratton for the NXT women’s championship at July 30, 2023 Great American Bash Premium Live Event in Cedar Park, Texas, Thea Hail, who is only 19 years old, has managed to establish herself as a top prospect in the WWE. The set-up was straightforward: in their first encounter, Hail tapped Stratton, but the referee missed it, and Tiffany was able to leave with her championship. In order to avoid a repeat, Hail forced her to submit in their second conflict.
Although Hail had the assistance of Andre Chase and Duke Hudson, Stratton was the one consistently throwing submissions throughout the contest. Hail occasionally managed to get the kimura, but the champion always found a way to escape, notably by utilizing a rope break even though there aren’t any in this kind of competition.

The conclusion was… pretty interesting. Hail battled for a very long time to cling onto Stratton’s Boston crab. Stratton, however, frequently lost her grasp and had to adjust her posture. At one point, she even fell over and had to reapply the hold. Later, when she couldn’t maintain control of the second leg, she went to one leg. Chase, mercifully, gave up at this point.
