The “WWE NXT” programme from this week saw Dominik Mysterio winning his initial WWE singles championship. To win the “NXT” North American Championship, Mysterio defeated Wes Lee. The Judgement Day companions of the “Raw” Superstar helped him obtain the pin. Damian Priest attempted to strike Lee with his own championship belt, but Lee deflected it. Rhea Ripley ultimately struck Lee with the Women’s World Championship. Finn Balor had been the referee’s main distraction. Prior to dropping the strap on Tuesday night, Lee has held the belt since winning a Five-Way Ladder match for the vacant title against Carmelo Hayes, Nathan Frazer, Oro Mensah, and Von Wagner on October 22, 2022, at the “NXT” Halloween Havoc special. Mysterio’s sole previous victory was the “SmackDown” Tag Team Championship that he and his father, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, won in the summer of 2021.
