Glenn Thomas Jacobs is a wrestler best known for his role gimmick as Kane in the WWE. He is a WWE Hall of Famer and former World, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Champion. Jacobs made his professional wrestling debut as Angus King in 1992. Before joining WWE, Jacobs competed for the USWA, SMW, and WCW, among others. In addition, he formed The Dynamic Duo with Al Snow.

Jacobs returned to SmackDown in 2016 and began battling with Bray Wyatt. Randy Orton, who had recently joined the stable, afterwards assaulted him. Jacobs made a few random cameos for RAW and SmackDown after 2016 and then went into semi-retirement. Jacobs announced his retirement in 2019 when he was elected Mayor of Knoxville. Jacobs was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.

Jacobs joined WWF in 1995 as an extra performer and began working there in 1995. Kane was crowned Hardcore Champion at WrestleMania XVII. Kane reunited with The Undertaker and entered into a feud with Triple H and Steve Austin. In a winner-take-all match, they were defeated by Triple H and Austin.
Jacob was recruited to RAW in 2002, where he won the WWE World Tag Team and Intercontinental Championships with The Hurricane. Kane lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Triple H in 2003. Kane exposed himself and went for RVD after the bout.
He clinched the Money in the Bank contract in 2010 and was crowned World Heavyweight Champion.
Kane and Daniel Bryan beat Dolph Ziggler and Big E at WrestleMania XXIX. They were defeated by The Shield at Extreme Rules. Kane joined The Authority after SummerSlam and had a feud with Daniel Bryan. Kane and The Shield beat The New Age Outlaws in WrestleMania XXX.
In 2014, he reverted to his former character after a dispute with Daniel Bryan. He returned to Corporate Kane after the feud and aided Seth Rollins on several occasions. The Brothers of Destruction beat The Wyatt Family in Survivor Series. Kane began a WWE Championship rivalry with Seth Rollins in 2015.

Crystal Maurisa Goins is Jacobs’s wife. Crystal was born in Knoxville in 1960 and graduated from Elizabeth High School in Tennessee. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from East Tennessee State University.
In 2003, Kane was revealed for the first time. Kane’s distinctive facial covering was removed off him on WWE Monday Night Raw in June 2003, after six years of wearing it. After losing a World Championship bout against Triple H, Kane was forced to unmask and reveal the scars he received during a fire as a child.
