Mike “The Miz” Mizanin’s journey is extremely unique. He made his television debut in 2001 on MTV’s The Real World reality show, before moving on to the fourth season of WWE Tough Enough, where he finished as runner-up.

Miz was signed to a developmental deal shortly after finishing second on Tough Enough, and he reported to Ohio Valley Wrestling. In 2006, he made his main roster debut as the presenter of SmackDown before becoming a wrestler later that autumn.

The Miz is amusing because he follows you everywhere. While he did have some down years in between, including a mediocre stint as a face and less acclaimed performances as a heel, the new brand split provided him with a significant career boost. Miz took over on the mic as an experienced heel. And he has done great work at doing so.

Here’s a look back at some of The Miz’s most memorable WWE rivalries

Daniel Bryan

There’s little denying that Daniel Bryan and The Miz’s feud has been one of the finest in both men’s careers. From their time together in the NXT gameshow style through The Miz’s emotional promo on Talking Smack to their violent interactions within the squared circle, the two have played their roles to perfection.

Now Daniel Bryan may not be in the company but his work with The Miz will always be remembered as one of the best rivalries. Also, The Miz and Daniel Bryan had an incredible feud which was breathtaking as The Miz was at top of his career and Bryan coming as a newbie, the storyline, everything was perfect.

John Cena

The first came in 2011 when Miz was WWE Champion for the first time in his career. Miz retained his title after defeating John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania XXVII; however, Cena beat him a month later at Extreme Rules. John Cena and Nikki Bella teamed up to face The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania 33. The suspense appeared to rise as each week drew closer to the immortals’ exhibition.

Both couples hinted at some personal enmity between them, which spilled over into the ads, leaving fans confused about what was real and what was a plot device. It was the first time Miz had been applauded at WrestleMania, which he relished. Unfortunately, his squad would lose the competition.

Dolph Ziggler

The Miz would allow The Showoff one more match if he would put his career on the line as he defeated Dolph Ziggler twice under dubious circumstances and by unfair means. Following that, The Miz was at his best, reuniting Ziggler with The Spirit Squad and showcasing a documentary detailing all of The Showoff’s failures throughout his career.

It resulted in an excellent encounter between the two at No Mercy, in which Ziggler not only saved his career but also became the Intercontinental Champion.
