Richard Morgan Fliehr a.k.a Ric Flair was born on February 25, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee. In high school, he was a competitive wrestler. Flair received a football scholarship to attend college. He dropped out of college and began working with Verne Gagner as a trainer. He began working with AWA in 1972. With his ring endurance and captivating approach, he quickly gained popularity.

He conquered Dusty Rhodes, Andre the Giant, and Larry Hennig during his stay there. Ric Flair joined the National Wrestling Alliance in 1994. At the time, the National Wrestling Alliance was the most popular wrestling organization. In 1975, he was injured in an aircraft crash. At the time, he was 26 years old, and doctors told him he can never ever wrestle again.

Flair returned to the ring after three months of physical treatment. After a feud with “Nature Boy” Buddy Rodgers, he adopted the moniker “Nature Boy.” Ric Flair’s moniker “The Nature Boy” would last a lifetime. Ric Flair was the WCW World Heavyweight Champion for the first time. He joined WWE in 1991 after a contract disagreement with WCW. 

Ric Flair is a former professional wrestler from the United States. Many consider him to be the greatest wrestler in history. Ric Flair has won the World Championship a record 16 times. Ric Flair holds the record for most world championships won. He has dominated the top divisions of the NWA, WCW, and WWE during his 40-year career. He was the inaugural World Champion of  WCW.

In 1991, he joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), and in 1992, he won the Royal Rumble for the first time. By defeating Sting in 1994, Flair won the unified WCW International World Heavyweight Champion and the WCW World Champion.

Flair became a member of the ‘Evolution’ in 2003, which included WWE superstars Triple H, Randy Orton, and Dave Batista. Flair and Batista won the World Tag Team Championship twice, in 2003 and 2004.
