David Michael “Dave” Bautista Jr. a.k.a Batista is a former professional wrestler and actor from the United States. He has built an impressive acting resume over the last ten years, commencing his journey as one of the top performers in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Bautista was born into a multi-cultural, impoverished household and left home at the age of 17 to work at a variety of odd jobs before deciding to pursue a career in bodybuilding. Bautista performed for WWE under the ring name Batista from 2000 until 2010, and then again from 2013 to 2014. Batista was four times World Heavyweight Champion and twice WWE Champion.
He is a two-time Royal Rumble winner, three times won World Tag Team Champions and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion. He has been part of almost every WWE main event. Bautista made his acting debut in the 2006 comedy picture ‘Relative Strangers,’ and has since established himself as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after character performers. In 2014, he got the role of Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy.’ Also, he have worked in various other superhit films, which also, shows how talented he is on-screen.

Bautista also worked for WCW Power Plant and World Xtreme Wrestling before joining WWE. Dave started working with OVW in 2000. He switched to SmackDown a few months later. He made his SmackDown debut in 2002 as Decan Batista, Reverend D-enforcer. Von’s Before turning on D-Von, Batista had a few matches. He was selected to RAW in 2003.
Batista, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton joined Evolution in 2003. On various times, they aided Triple in retaining his World Heavyweight Championship. On two separate occasions, Batista and Ric Flair won the World Tag Team Championship.
Batista won the Royal Rumble battle in 2005. Then he assaulted Triple H on RAW, kicking off their war. Batista defeated Triple H to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXI. Batista feuded with Triple H for months after Mania before heading to SmackDown.
On SmackDown, Batista became the longest-reigning World Heavyweight Champion. Before vacating the championship due to injury, he beat JBL, Christian, Randy Orton, Eddie Guerrero, Mark Henry, and Kurt Angle.
Batista returned in 2006 and resumed a feud with Booker T. Batista beat Booker T by disqualification at SummerSlam. He defeated Booker T to win his second World Heavyweight Championship at the Survivor Series.
Batista and Cena began their feud in the summer of 2008. The World Tag Team Championship was won by Batista and Cena over The Legacy. Batista defeated John Cena at SummerSlam. And won his fourth World Heavyweight Championship on Cyber Sunday.
“Dave” returned to WWE in 2014, winning the Royal Rumble match. Daniel Bryan beat Batista and Randy Orton in WrestleMania XXX.
Dave makes a surprise appearance on SmackDown’s 1000th episode, teasing about with Triple H. He made a comeback in March, attacking Ric Flair and challenging Triple H. Triple H beat Batista in WrestleMania 35.

Glenda Bautista was his first wife, and they were married for eight years, from 1990 until 1998.
Angie Bautista was his second wife, and they were married for eight years, from 1998 until 2006.
Sarah Jade was his third wife, and they were married for four years, from 2015 to 2019.
Dave made his professional wrestling debut in 2000, at the age of 31, with Ohio Valley Wrestling, and was promoted to the major leagues two years later.
Althoughthe fact that their marriage did not endure, the two appeared to have a deep affinity. Bautista told Comic Book that his WWE work schedule didn’t allow him to spend much time at home which made them decide to get a divorce.
