Following her impactful debut on AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE, opened up in a “Digital Exclusive” interview about her transition to All Elite Wrestling, the challenges she faced between leaving WWE and joining AEW, and her journey of self-discovery.

During the interview, Mone candidly shared her struggles during the period between her WWE departure and joining AEW, expressing feelings of confusion, loss, and hurt. She emphasized the importance of finding a supportive team to navigate through the turmoil and rebuild her sense of self.

“It took a little bit of healing, a lot of healing, but a team to really help build me back up and to have my back,” Mone revealed. “To let me know, I am more than a boss, I am a CEO because I took control of my own life.”
