In recent weeks, Kevin Owens has erupted in rage at numerous other WWE Superstars for perceived slights, but Sami Zayn has caused Owens to deviate from his usual demeanor. In recent months, Sami Zayn has gained notoriety for his capacity to make his fellow WWE stars chuckle when the circumstance may not have called for it. When Zayn was a part of The Bloodline, The Usos were the worst offenders; the infamous “ucey” episode even seemed to surprise Roman Reigns.
However, it appears that Kevin Owens experienced the same thing recently because Sami Zayn stated a statement that Owens didn’t want to be affiliated with throughout an interview with Alex McCarthy. Zayn brought up the representation of Muslims in WWE. “I always just assumed if I got to WWE, I’d have to play like a terrorist or something like that.” Owens smiled briefly when Zayn laughed and then merely walked away.

Damian Priest won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, and Kevin Owens mentioned wanting to work it. The card didn’t have Owens’ name on it. Owens opined that he was not pleased with the fact that WWE ignored him for MITB. He further stated his love for ladders and mentioned that is kind of good with these matches. “I’m actually a little annoyed I’m not in it this year. I love ladders. Yeah, I love ladder matches. I think I thrive in them. So to not get to do it kind of sucks.” Owens said in a recent appearance on Mark Andrews’ My Love Letter to Wrestling.
Sami Zayn, one of the most well-liked WWE players in 2023, was not on the Money In The Bank event, but he and Kevin Owens will undoubtedly draw attention on Friday’s SmackDown when The Usos put Roman Reigns on trial in the wake of The Tribal Chief’s defeat in London.
