Following the WWE Draft, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre are currently on Smackdown, and they recently talked about joining the main roster. You may watch some highlights of The NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions’ appearance on Mark Andrews’ My Love Letter to Wrestling. On SmackDown recently, Rousey and Baszler defeated Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre to unify the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles.
In order to end the fight, Rousey put Dawn under an arm bar while Baszler put Fyre under the Kirifuda Clutch. Dawn and Fyre began their first reign as the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 1, after being chosen by SmackDown in the WWE Draft.
“I think there are a few differences, but NXT does do its job. It clearly works. It clearly works because we’re sitting here today, still NXT champions on SmackDown. The system does work if you’re willing to let it work… Everything now, we’re like, ‘this is why we’re so drilled.’ In training, we’re doing these different drills. First day of SmackDown, I was terrified, and then I got in, I walked into the women’s locker room.” Dawn expressed
“It’s lots of people from NXT, lots of people I’ve never met before, but they brought me in. Tamina, I have met once, and she immediately took me in like I was her child. She is the loveliest woman alive.” She added.
“Everyone is so welcome and so genuinely happy and supportive. We thought it was going to be a lot more scary, but it’s been a good comfort for us.” Exclaimed Dawn.

Alba stated that she was nervous for her first day on the main roster. Tamina was highlighted as being helpful. “I’m very nervous. Our first day at SmackDown, I was terrified and then I got in and I walked in through the women’s locker room. Everybody is just so welcoming and so genuinely happy and genuinely supportive of us that it’s just made it easier for us to step into it.” Expressed Fyre.
