Is Becky Lynch vs Bayley On Cards At WrestleMania 39? 

Becky Lynch vs Bayley is underway at WrestleMania 39. This is according to SI’s Justin Barrasso, who wrote that WWE is building on the WrestleMania showdown between the two after Bayley eliminated Lynch in last weekend’s Women’s Royal Rumble match. Lynch was knocked out of the rumble by Bayley after throwing heel damage CTRL stablemates Iyo Sky and Dako Takai over the top rope. Becky and Bailey were scheduled to have steel her cage match on her Raw Are XXX special last week. Unfortunately, due to timing issues, the entire show had to be cut early in the evening, with Lynch vs. Bailey suffering the most. Damage CTRL knocked Becky out in front of Bell, reducing the fight to a cage beatdown angle. Originally, Lynch was rumored to be on the WrestleMania 39 program starring Ronda Rousey, presumably at one of the major venues – now it seems to be off TV. Rousey is actually all off the TV after handing the SmackDown Women’s Championship to a returning Charlotte Flair in December.

Becky and Bailey last met him one-on-one on the December 19, 2022, episode of Her Raw, with Bailey winning. The fact that their cage fight was scrapped on Raw Is XXX almost confirms that Becky Lynch and Bayley will clash in her night or two on “Mania 39.” Having been eliminated, she has her revenge in mind. WWE will never pull this off in her chamber of elimination. Or at least it shouldn’t. Both women could be in the cards in some sort of chamber fight (although it seems much more likely that Trips will book one with the SmackDown Women’s title in mind), but still one Shouldn’t be 1 to 1. Save it for Hollywood. Don’t be surprised if the Cage gimmick rolls out again, as fans finally get to see what they were promised at Raw’s 30th-anniversary celebrations, in theory, it could damage her CTRL member Dakota. 

The WWE Raw star was close to winning the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match when she and ‘Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Blair were the last two in the ring. Ripley could face Bellaire for her title or WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39 if the two champions can hold the title until then. Ripley is a former Women’s Student Champion, a title she won from Asuka at WrestleMania 37 and held until the 2021 Money in the Bank show. At the 2023 Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes won the Men’s Royal Rumble match, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt defeated L.A., and retained the title against Bliss.
