And when I asked him, he said, ‘I don’t know who you are.’ He’s like, ‘Who are you?’ And I said, ‘Well, yeah I’m Becky.’ Like, but they know who I am, obviously I wouldn’t say this to him, but they know who I am, they’re chanting my name,” Lynch recalled.

Lynch continued, expressing her complete agreement with Cena’s remarks: “But he was right. I didn’t know who I was. Like, I didn’t know, apart from being Becky. The Irish Lasskicke

r. What the hell was The Irish Lasskicker, because I would always get my lass kicked. So, I didn’t know, and I didn’t really have an identity, I was searching for that, and I was the little scrappy underdog from Ireland, but it wasn’t immediately establishable.”

John Cena has a unique style of delivering advice to other superstars

John Cena has a lengthy and illustrious career in the WWE and has aided other colleagues along the road. Being an experienced veteran, Cena can tell when someone has the ability to be successful and won’t hesitate to be direct with them. Similar to the aforementioned incident with Becky Lynch, Cena was open and honest about his fitness aspirations with WWE superstar Big Show.

Big Show once made light of his desire for six-pack abs. The former WCW star was inspired by the snarky statement made by Cena in response. Who would want to watch a monster with abs, Big Show playfully asked Cena. Cena gave Show a blank look and said: “Yeah, a giant with abs, who would want to see that.” Later, Big Show said that Cena’s remark cut right through him and ignited a fire inside of him that motivated him to work toward developing a six-pack.

John Cena is a fitness fanatic himself

In the late 1990s, John Cena explored a career in bodybuilding before becoming successful in the WWE. Cena, who was born in West Newbury, Massachusetts, relocated to California in 1998 to pursue a career in bodybuilding.

Following time spent honing his skills in Ohio Valley Wrestling, Cena made his WWE main roster debut in 2002. From the start, he had quite a striking body. Together with his mic prowess, he was the total deal. Big Show, a former WWE Superstar, gave John Cena credit for his remarkable bodily transformation:“I said ‘Who’d want to see a giant with abs?’ And John just looked at me and said ‘Yeah, a giant with abs, who would want to see that’ and he walked off. And the way he did it… the way John hit me with that comment, for once in 40-something years, it lit a fire under my big fat a**,” said Show.
