Karlee Perez recently highlighted her experiences working with current WWE Superstars Roman Reigns and Sheamus prior to their main roster debuts. Between 2009 and 2012, Perez wrestled in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and NXT.

Roman Reigns and Karlee Perez both had a stint in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), which was WWE’s developmental territory at the time. Reigns signed with WWE in 2010 and was assigned to FCW for training and development. He wrestled under the ring name Roman Leakee and won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship with Mike Dalton (later known as Tyler Breeze).

Perez had only positive things to say about her contacts with both guys in an interview with The Hannibal TV: “Roman was always a nice guy. He was always fun to work with. We literally came up together in FCW. He was a solid guy. He has a great look, and I knew he was gonna do great things in the company, which he has. Sheamus was massively talented and still is a sweetheart, and [the] same goes for him. Nobody’s really quite like Sheamus. It was a solid crew of talent at that time.” [0:51 – 1:30] h/t sportskeeda

Who will face Roman Reigns next for the Undisputed Universal championship?

Thinking of Reigns, the first thing that might pop into anyone’s head would be who he would be going against next. Names such as Shinsuke Nakamura and Omos have been mentioned but would the WWE Universe take either of the challengers seriously? Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio thinks that a challenge could come from within the Bloodline.

Diamond Dave discussed this on wrestling observer radio, “Who can he wrestle against? They can turn Solo Sikoa, they have him do Cody one more time. They could have him do Sami Zayn, but everyone knows that Sami Zayn isn’t going to win, Drew McIntyre, which in case of Roman Reigns is someone that he’s already beaten.”

It looks like the WWE is going to keep the championship gold on Reigns at least until he reaches the 1000-day milestone. On the Night of Champions, Roman Reigns will become a champion for 1000 days.
