Under Trish Stratus’ guidance, Zoey Stark has swiftly become a prominent member of the WWE main roster. First up was Stark vs. Lynch, but this wasn’t just any recent Raw singles bout. Stark suffers her first loss at the hands of the red brand. In a recent interview on the “Zaslow Show,” she voiced her shock at the quick change.
Stark faced off against Lynch first, but this wasn’t just any singles match. If Lynch won, she would face Trish Stratus again, and if The Man lost, she would have to get the name of the WWE Hall of Famer tattooed on her chest. Though the Man may have had more at stake, both ladies were combative right away. Little more than two minutes had passed before Stark unleashed a springboard dropkick that sent Lynch flying.
Lynch was able to kick out at two despite Stratus intervening and hitting a headbutt with her protective mask. She and Stratus will probably square off for the last time at SummerSlam thanks to The Man’s comeback and Manhandle Slam for the pin and victory. Stark and Lynch gave another outstanding performance in this one. As opponents, they’ve already established chemistry, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see WWE keep them together for a while.

Regarding her early success in the business and the potential for resentment among other women on the roster, Stark assertively said “I definitely didn’t think I would be getting as much time on TV as I am now. I thought it was going to be more of a slower transition, just a couple of things here and there, and build into something. I was thrown right into the fire with two of the top talents. It’s been a wild ride. I’m not worried about jealousy, I’m here for me, not for them. If they want to be in my position, they better work as hard, if not harder, than I do, which is nearly impossible. No one is going to work as hard as I do.”
