CM Punk confirms WrestleMania 40 main event plans and discusses injury return

CM Punk, the long-awaited WWE comeback star got a triceps tear in the men’s Royal Rumble match. This has big effects on WrestleMania 40. CM Punk told Caroline Pearce of TNT Sports in a chat that he was supposed to be part of one of the main events at the two-day party April 6-7 before he got hurt. Even though he got hurt he stayed strong and hopeful. He stressed that he was ready to rise above his injury and return to the ring victoriously.

Punk, during the talk dropped that he was set to hit the WWE’s biggest night in WrestleMania 40. But, a triceps injury sidelined him. He handled the setback well though accepting that injuries are part of the game. He saw it as a small bump in his path and not the end. Punk shows faith in his strength promising he’ll shake the WWE again. His aim is to get healthy first then aim for a smashing return. His steep dedication to getting better is clear proof of his passion for the sport and his intention to make a major comeback.

CM Punk gave us a peek into how he’s healing in a recent chat. He likened himself to an old shoe or an antique auto that needs some work now and again. He’s letting his body get better and stronger he’s not rushing it. About his comeback stint, he didn’t give a precise date but he hinted at somewhere between half a year to eight months. He underscored that returning quickly wasn’t his aim but rather coming back fully mended. Punk’s number one goal is his health. He wants to step back into the WWE arena at his absolute best. His steadfast will and upbeat attitude tell us we can look forward to seeing CM Punk back in action before we know it.
