One of WWE’s most talked about topics right now is the friendship between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The duo have one of the most intriguing yet interesting relationships that has endeared them to the fans worldwide. They have been put through the grinder time and time again, but they have come out with flying colors, much to the delight of the crowd.

With so much going on between them over the last year with regards to The Bloodline and Roman Reigns, the question arises, are Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens best friends? The short answer to that is YES. Zayn and Owens have known each other for decades now ever since their time on the independent circuit and have been friends ever since. Given that they are both from Canada, it makes their bond all the more greater.

We recently saw how Owens came rushing to Zayn’s aid when the latter was being attacked by the Bloodline on SmackDown. Now, they will team up to take on The Usos at WrestleMania and will look to end their record breaking tag team title run.

How did Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens meet?

The pair first met when they just started wrestling on the independent circuit. They became very good friends along the way and have maintained that bond despite what was shown on WWE TV. The two friends showcased their wrestling prowess to the world and earned contracts from promotions across the world.

After a lot of hard work, they got their big break when they were signed by the WWE in 2014 and have never looked back since. It can be argued that Owens has been more successful of the two as he has won numerous titles, including the Universal title but Sami has a connection with the fans like no other and that was on show at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view last month when he took on Roman Reigns.

The way the Montreal crowd reacted to Sami’s every move was something that the WWE has never seen in a long time. They cheered him on so much that Zayn was seconds away from beating Roman Reigns to end his 900 odd days title run but that was not to be.

Instead, Owens and Zayn will now team up to finish what they started and that is to finish The Bloodline once and for all. With Cody Rhodes looking to take down Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 and if Kevin and Sami do succeed in taking down The Usos, one of the most compelling and greatest stories in history will come to an end.
