The FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship 2023 is currently in progress, having started on August 2nd, with the final match scheduled for August 11th. Hosted in San Juan, Argentina, this prestigious tournament has drawn 20 teams from around the globe. The event has now entered the knockout phase as a result the battles in the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and ultimately, the final, will determine the winner of this year’s edition. The previous championship in 2021 saw Poland claim the prestigious title.
On August 10, 2023, Italy will take on South Korea in the quarters of the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship 2023. The 1997 and 2019 champions, Italy, entered the quarter-final phase after a clinical victory against Japan by 3-0 in the Round of 16 clash. Meanwhile, South Korea reached the last eight stage after producing a 3-2 triumph over Argentina in their Round of 16 contest.
