The concluding tournament of the global volleyball season, the FIVB Men’s Volleyball Club World Championship 2023, is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru, India, from December 6 to December 10, 2023. Italy’s Sir Sicoma Perugia aims to retain its title as it competes against top-tier teams like Halkbank Spor Kulübü from Turkey, Brazil’s Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei, and Itambé Minas, Japan’s Suntory Sunbirds, and the host nation’s team, Ahmedabad Defenders.
On December 6, 2023, Ahmedabad Defenders and Itambé Minas will compete against one another in the Koramangala Indoor Stadium at the FIVB Men’s Volleyball Club World Championship 2023. The Defenders will be playing in the prestigious competition for the first time ever and will aim to create a lasting impression in the event. Meanwhile, Itambe Minas is one of the two Brazilian clubs set to compete in the tournament and boasts seven Superliga title (Brazilian Volleyball Super League) victories.
