The 24 elite volleyball teams will compete in Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and Xi’an for the FIVB Paris Olympics 2024 Volleyball Qualifier from September 30 to October 8, 2023. They will be playing for a coveted place in the Paris 2024 Olympics. The tournament, which is acting as a pivotal road to the Olympics, will see teams categorized into three divisions, competing in a round-robin manner. The top two from every group will punch their ticket to the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris.
On October 3, 2023, Iran will compete against Qatar in a Pool A match at the FIVB Paris Olympics 2024 Volleyball Qualifier 2023. Both Iran and Qatar are at the bottom of their group, having lost both the matches which they have played so far in the tournament. As the two teams play one another, one of the the two teams will finally be opening their account in the volleyball qualifying event.
