The CEV U17 Volleyball European Championship 2023 for men commenced on July 19 and will continue until July 30, 2023. The city of Podgorica in Montenegro has been chosen as the host for this U17 age group event, featuring a total of 16 teams. This championship was first introduced in 2017, and during its inaugural edition, Italy claimed victory as the ultimate champion. In the previous edition of the CEV European Men’s U17 Volleyball Championship held in Tirana, Albania, Slovenia won the tournament by defeating Russia with a score of 3-0 in the final match.

Estonia will lock horns with Turkey on July 21, 2023, at the CEV European Men’s U17 Volleyball Championship 2023. Estonia and Turkey have featured in all the editions of the competition but have never been able to claim the main title. Turkey’s best finish in the tournament was in the inaugural edition in 2017 when they were the hosts as they finished third in the CEV European Men’s U17 Volleyball Championship, defeating Bulgaria by 3-0.
