The FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship 2023 is gearing up for an exciting tournament in Manama, Bahrain, running from July 7th to the 16th. Sixteen teams from across the globe, including Argentina, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czechia, Egypt, India, Iran, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Thailand, Tunisia, and the United States are all taking part in the competition. Italy will return as the reigning champions from the 2021 edition, where they clinched a decisive 3-0 victory over Russia (25-19, 25-22, 25-20).
On July 8, 2023, Canada will take on Poland in the Pool C match of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship 2023. Canada lost their first match of the competition against Bulgaria by 1-3 (12-25, 25-21, 20-25, 25-27). While Poland defeated Asian U20 Championship’s runner-up, India, to win their first game in the tournament. Canada will be aiming for their first victory in the competition, while Poland will be looking for their second as they compete against each other on Saturday.
