Juventus and Borussia Monchengladbach have reportedly agreed the details of the deal that will see Denis Zakaria move to Turin. The Swiss midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus for a number of weeks now and the Bianconeri are keen to secure his services this month. The 25-year-old’s contract with the German club expires in six months and they would want to avoid the talented youngster exiting as a free agent. Meanwhile Juventus would also want to avoid a possible bidding war in the summer.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have agreed a EUR 5 million deal with Borussia Monchengladbach  for Zakaria, not including add-ons. Zakaria is set to receive a four-and-a half year contract worth EUR 3 million net per season.

Coach Massimiliano Allegeri is currently happy with the squad but he is also happy with the reinforcement. The deal for Zakaria would be finalised once Dejan Kulusevski’s loan move to Tottenham is completed. The winger is set to join Spurs for a lean deal worth EUR 5 million with an obligation to buy for a further EUR 35 million if they qualify for the Champions League And other conditions are met. Rodrigo Bentacur is also linked with Spurs.

It’s suggested that Zakaria has already agreed personal terms with Juventus, so the Turn side have the upper hand in negotiations and are not prepared to raise their bid, knowing he could be landed for free in the summer.

Juventus had already made a big-money signing in Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina. The highly-rated Serbian striker was brought to Turin for EUR 70 million. Vlahovic is one of the hottest strikers in world football right now. He was linked with a mega-money move to Arsenal before opting to remain in Italy and now has put pen to paper on his contract and put an end to all the rumours after a host of interest in his signature.

Vlahovic has scored 20 goals in 24 matches in all competitions for fiorentina this season and is on joint top of the Serie A scoring charts, along with Lazio’s Ciro Immobile, both of them have netted 17 times in the league.
