Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will take on each other in their next game of IPL 2022. The MI vs CSK match is going to be the 33rd match of IPL 2022 that will take place on April 21 (Thursday) at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

Mumbai Indias have played 6 matches so far where they have lost all the games and placed at the last spot in the points table. Mumbai Indians lost to Lucknow Super Giants in their last game where batting first, LSG posted 199-4 on the scoreboard. KL Rahul smashed a stunning century, hitting an unbeaten 103 off 60 balls. Manish Pandey also scored 38 runs for LSG.

For Mumbai Indians, openers Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma got out early in the innings, scoring 13 and 6 respectively. Later, Dewald Brevis scored 31 runs and Suryakumar Yadav scored 37 runs. Tilak Varma also scored 26 while Kieron Pollard amassed 25 and managed to score 181-9, losing the match by 18 runs.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings have played 6 matches so far, winning 1 and losing the rest of the 5 as well. They have 2 points and are placed at the 9th spot in the points table. Chennai Super Kings lost their previous match to Gujarat Titans. While batting first, CSK smashed 169-5 on the board.

Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a brilliant 73 runs whereas Ambati Rayudu scored 46 runs. Ravindra Jadeja also contributed 22 runs. Bowlers did try to restrict them well but David Miller scored unbeaten 94 runs and Rashid Khan’s quickfire 40 helped Gujarat Titans win the match by 3 wickets as well.
