CSK vs KKR match ended in a great fashion as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have registered a convincing win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the first match of the Indian Premier League 2022 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 26. Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and opted to bowl first. They got off to a great start as CSK lost their opener Ruturaj Gaikwad for a duck. Even Conway too got out for a mere 3.
However, middle-order batters tried their best but they couldn’t score freely. KKR successfully restricted them within 73 runs during 15 overs. But it was MS Dhoni who smashed a quickfire fifty that guided CSK to a decent total of 131 runs with the loss of 5 wickets.

While chasing, Ajinkya Rahane and Venkatesh Iyer got off to a flying start, adding 43 runs. Although CSK bowlers gave a tough fight to KKR in the middle orders, Shreyas Iyer scored 20* and Sam Billings scored a quickfire 25 and sealed the deal for KKR.
