Wuhan Yangtze will be hosting Wuhan Three Towns in the matchday four of the Chinese Super League. It is a top of the table clash as both the teams are separated by just two points at the top of the table. Wuhan Yangtze have made a perfect start to their campaign with three wins earning nine points so far, while Wuhan Three Towns have accumulated seven points with two wins and a draw. With both the clubs in such good run of form, it promises to be an exciting and keenly anticipated match.

Following their 1-0 win against Guangzhou FC on the weekend, Wuhan Yangtze River made it three wins out of three and hence have safely secured their spot at the top of the table for now. Following a disappointing campaign last time around when they finished, 14th in the Chinese Super League, Jinyu Li and his side have returned prepared and look all set to mount a serious challenge for the title this term. Wuhan Three Towns on the other hand will know that they need to comeback strongly following a draw last time around with Shanghai Shenhua, which made them lose their place at the top of the table to Wuhan Yangtze. Although, the draw wasn’t a particularly disappointing result considering the stature and ability of the opposition, Wuhan Three Towns will be hoping for a better result against their rivals for the top spot. Anything, other than a win will make them lose more ground to Wuhan Yangtze which might make proceedings more complicated in the upcoming fixtures.
For Wuhan Yangtze, Yuhan Chen will not be available for the fixture due to international duties with the Chinese football team. The good news, however is that all the others are available, particularly Felicio Brown Forbes who will be after his third goal of the season. For Wuhan Three Towns, the main dilemma will be the selection of striker Ademilson who is still goalless in the current season. All the players will be available for selection.
