Blackburn, on the other hand, are sitting two places behind the Hornets, separated by just a solitary point but have a game in hand. The Riversiders are undefeated in their last four outings across all competition, and that includes a FA Cup fourth round win over Birmingham City (1-0). Meanwhile, their last Championship-win came against Cardiff City on January 1, courtesy Bradley Dack’s lone goal three minutes into the second half. Since then, the Rovers have collected just two points from three second tier matches. Meanwhile Jon Dahl’s side have not conceded a goal in their last two outings across all competitions.
Although Blackburn have won the latest meeting between these two sides, Watford have won three of the last five games against the Riversiders. Both sides have faced each other on 15 occasions and there isn’t much difference between the two clubs, with Blackburn winning 7 encounters compared to six by the Hornets.
