After a disappointing 3-0 defeat away to Fulham midway through last month, Tottenham bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Luton on March 30 thanks to Isaa Kabore’s 51st-minute own goal and Son Heung-min’s winner four minutes from time. However, on Tuesday Spurs were forced to share the spoils with West Ham United at London Stadium despite taking the lead through Brennan Johnson’s fifth-minute opener. Nevertheless, Ange Postecoglu’s men have taken ten points from last possible 15. Moreover, the North London side have won four of their last five games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, are heading into the match on the back of a comprehensive 3-1 win over Fulham on Tuesday night. First-half efforts from Callum Hudson-Odoi, Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs White helped Forest secure al three points versus the Cottagers and end their six-game winless run in all competitions. Meanwhile, it was the Tricky Trees’ seventh top flight victory of the season and first one since since the 2-0 league-success over West Ham in February. With five points taken from their last three outings, the Reds are in control of their survival as they have a game in hand over 18th-placed Luton.
