The Pilgrims recorded 31 wins, eight draws and seven defeats to earn promotion to the Championship for the first time since 2010. Argyle ended their previous league campaign with six successive wins and have picked up from they left off, winning three consecutive friendlies against Hearts, Plymouth Parkway and Blackpool this month. Apart from the clash against Torquay, Argyle have two more friendlies lined up for this month, before beginning their 2023- 24 Championship season against Huddersfield Town on August 5.
